Your confirmation message makes the appointment official
Sending the form starts a personal review without a charge. Shay-Lin checks availability, service fit, location, travel details, and whether another practitioner is needed. If the request can be accepted, you will receive the full price and next steps. The appointment is official when Shay-Lin sends your confirmation message.

Complete details help your request move faster
Please share a preferred date, a backup date, island, service location, guest count, service choice, and reliable contact details. If something changes, reply to the same request so the information stays together.

Requests are reviewed throughout the week
You may send a complete appointment request any day. Requests are monitored regularly and reviewed as promptly as reasonably practical based on timing, availability, location, safety, service fit, and the information needed to make a decision. If the request can be accepted, availability, the exact price, applicable terms, and any required payment instructions are sent in writing. No instant or 24/7 response is promised, and no appointment is official until final confirmation is sent.

Core prices are public; extra costs are explained
The public menu lists the named core massage prices, the PAUSE IN MOTION™ rate and minimum, service basics, the three complimentary table-massage choices, and current priced enhancements and rituals. Travel, transportation, off-island service, beach or event setup, additional practitioners, and special property requirements may cost extra. Every extra amount is explained before you decide to book.

Enhancements must be finalized at least 12 hours ahead
STONE-WARMED RELEASE™ is the $25 Warm-Stone Enhancement; warm stones are not complimentary. Hot towels, aromatherapy, and fragrance-free setup are the complimentary choices when appropriate and wanted. Every paid or request-specific option involving product, equipment, added time, special preparation, staffing, or setup must be selected or finalized and communicated to HealingTouch at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment unless HealingTouch confirms an exception. A later request may be declined when preparation, inventory, professional fit, safety, or the setting does not support it.

You will see the terms before you pay
Submit the request first; no payment is taken with the request. If it is accepted, HealingTouch provides the Booking Total, required 50% deposit, Booking ID, available payment method, and the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, refund, weather, location, gratuity, or service-charge terms before you pay. Use the Booking ID with payment. A screenshot or payment-app notification is not final proof, and payment by itself does not create or confirm an appointment. Shay-Lin verifies the official payment record, sends a receipt, and then sends the appointment confirmation.

Every accepted booking requires a 50% deposit
The deposit is 50% of the accepted Booking Total, including any mandatory charges and excluding any voluntary gratuity. The time is held only after the deposit is verified against the Booking ID; a separate confirmation message then makes the appointment official. The remaining balance is due after service unless approved written invoicing terms apply to a verified organization. No saved inquiry, form submission, unrequested payment, or payment without a matched Booking ID reserves a time.

Give as much notice as you reasonably can
At least 24 hours’ notice is preferred for cancellation or rescheduling. With less notice, the deposit may be retained because the time and mobile preparation were held. If you are traveling from off island and book before arriving on the service island, you may cancel before that arrival and receive a refund of the deposit; after arrival, the standard 24-hour policy applies. Emergencies, illness, travel disruption, and unusual circumstances are reviewed with reasonable discretion. A no-show may lose the deposit and require a new deposit before another time is held. Your requested time includes arrival and setup
The time entered on the request is the practitioner’s requested arrival and setup time, not the hands-on massage start. Setup, brief intake, and any final comfort planning happen before hands-on care begins. Share any firm finish-by or travel deadline before confirmation so the schedule can be reviewed accurately.

Gratuity and service charges are not the same
For private table massage serving one to four guests, gratuity is voluntary; 20% is a preferred starting point, not a minimum or required amount. PAUSE IN MOTION™ chair massage, event wellness, and table-massage bookings for five or more guests include a mandatory 20% service charge on the applicable subtotal. Any additional gratuity remains optional.

If HealingTouch cancels, your paid amount remains protected
If HealingTouch cannot provide the confirmed appointment, you may choose to reschedule or receive a refund of the amount paid for the unavailable service. Severe or unsafe weather, travel, access, or location conditions may require an arrival-time adjustment, a safer covered location when feasible, or a new appointment time. A HealingTouch-initiated safety or weather reschedule is not treated as a client cancellation and does not forfeit the deposit. HealingTouch is never required to travel or set up in unsafe conditions.

Outdoor appointments are planned around the setting
Beach and outdoor requests are reviewed for permission, weather, wind, tide, shade, privacy, draping, access, clean setup, and safe equipment transport. An indoor or covered alternative may be recommended when the location or conditions are unsuitable.

Mobile appointments are personally reviewed
Adult male clients must have an adult woman present throughout the mobile appointment. Women may book individually. For clients ages 6–17, parent or legal-guardian review and consent are required, and a responsible adult must remain present throughout. HealingTouch may also decline, adjust, or reschedule any appointment when objective location or safety conditions cannot be met. Requests for clients ages 6–17 still require advance parent or legal-guardian review, guardian consent, and that responsible adult’s presence throughout.

Partner introductions never replace client review
A referral partner may share the approved website or make a basic introduction with the client’s permission. The partner should not share health history or detailed intake information and does not normally collect massage payment. HealingTouch still handles its own client communication, private intake, payment, safety review, service approval, and final confirmation.

Professional care includes consent and clear scope
Services are professional, appropriately draped, and wellness-focused. Massage remains separate from medical diagnosis or emergency care. Consent, respectful conduct, professional scope, and client comfort guide every confirmed arrangement.

Gift certificates are redeemed through a confirmed appointment
A gift certificate carries eligible dollar value connected to its unique certificate number. No paid balance is forfeited after partial use. When $150 or more remains, an updated digital certificate is issued; balances below $150 stay connected to the original number. Shay-Lin confirms the available value, appointment availability, location, logistics, and any extra costs before booking.

A little breathing room can protect the relaxation. When possible, avoid placing your massage between tightly timed commitments. Mobile island conditions can occasionally require a small timing adjustment. This is a recommendation, not a requirement: your confirmed appointment time remains the agreed time unless HealingTouch communicates with you and a different time is agreed. If you have a fixed deadline that day, share it before confirmation so it can be considered in planning.
